Teachers are professional communicators. Unfortunately, the skills that help us in the classroom can hurt when we try to join public discussions about education. To understand why, it helps to understand something called “media training.” Here’s a summary of what media training is, how it’s different from educator communication, and how educators can use this skill to help make our voices heard.
